We buy and sell pre-owned watches, hold a jewellery counter in the same room, and do repairs on the premises. We are not an authorised Rolex retailer, and we are not a high-street chain.

Dorking still has proper independent shops. Ours is small on purpose. You deal with the same people who bought the watch, inspected it and put a price on it. That matters more than a long window display. If a piece is not in the building, we say so. If it is, you can try it on.

We have been here since 2013. The work is mixed: a client selling a Datejust, someone collecting a repaired chain, someone viewing a pre-owned Submariner before they drive back to Reigate. Watches and jewellery in the same shop

Repairs at the counter

A jewellers that will not take a repair is only half a shop. We resize rings, mend chains and clasps, and look at setting. On the watch side we replace batteries properly, fit crystals, polish with a light hand, and arrange mechanical servicing for Swiss pieces, including Rolex, through watchmakers we trust. We are not a manufacturer service centre. If a particular Rolex should go to the brand, we will tell you rather than take the job for the sake of it. The detail is on repairs.

Walk in during opening hours with the piece. A battery or a simple jewellery job can often be discussed while you wait. A full service is quoted after we have seen the watch, not from a photograph of the dial.

Where to find us

7 South Street is in the centre of Dorking, not on a ring road. Monday to Friday we are open 11am to 4pm. Saturday is by appointment. If you are coming from Leatherhead, Horsham or Guildford, telephone first if you want a particular watch put out. Parking is town-centre parking; the shop is a short walk from the High Street.
