Dorking, not a Guildford branch
We will not pretend to be a Guildford jewellers. The boutique is in the centre of Dorking and has been since 2013. From Guildford it is a straightforward run along the A25, typically around twenty-five minutes outside rush hour. From Godalming, Cranleigh or Horsham the journey is similar. Telephone before you set off if you are coming for a particular reference, so we can confirm it is still in the cabinet.
Monday to Friday we are open 11am to 4pm. Saturday is by appointment. If a weekday afternoon is difficult, book the Saturday rather than hoping the door is open. Contact us with the watch you want to see, or with photographs of the one you want to sell.
Pre-owned, viewed in store
Authorised retail is for new watches, allocated by Rolex, often with a wait. We buy watches that already exist, authenticate them, and sell them with our own warranty. You can try the watch on in Dorking, look at the bracelet and the dial in daylight, and ask what is original. Photographs flatten a 40mm sports model. Your wrist does not.
Every piece is inspected before it is offered: reference and serial, movement, dial, bezel, crystal, bracelet and clasp. We supply a certificate of authenticity from this shop, not a factory letter. Pre-owned watches carry a 12-month mechanical warranty covering the movement and 14-day returns if the watch comes back as it left. Detail is on authenticity.
Box and papers help. They are not the whole story. We describe what is included on each listing. If the card is missing, we say so. Do not let a complete set distract you from a tired bracelet, and do not dismiss a honest watch because the inner box has gone.
Selling a Rolex from Guildford
